There have been many times that artstes in Nakuru have been lied to,brought to events and they were eventually not paid anything or even they end up not having places to sleep. Many are times that these artists have signed deals that went west without them benefiting from anything.
There have been many cases of artistes even going to events and finding that the environment isn’t comfy or bearable.I mean don’t they deserve to be treated like their jobs as entertainers matter too?
One of the most trending artists known as GodyTenor who gave us that tune that united all kenyans #mahewa #sikosoko was supposed to have a show in Nakuru.Apparently known as the color splash event.Lil Carlos who is the alleged hooligan in the whole story approached GodyTenor and asked him to be the main performing artiste in the event cus he is popular all over the place. If that’s not using someone who has a talent I want to know what you’d call that in your language.
GodyTenor connected him not knowing what was lurking in the darkness out there.He gave GodyTenor the deposit,half deposit even though GodyTenor kept on insisting that he should be given the full amount.
He told GodyTenor that he would pay him after the event.Such a shame that the artiste even invited Djs from the pink city one of them being our talented DJ Vinnyto.
He also connected this hooligan to the venue management which was LORD EGERTON CASTLE.
GodyTenor came all the way to Nakuru with this thief of a man and they arrived at 8pm.When he was asked about the accommodation rooms that he promised to pay for he started complaining that he was broke and he didnt have cash.Godytenor had to take money out of his pocket to pay for a place to sleep but guess who had ran away when people were in slumber land.Your guess is as good as mine lol the hooligan had ran away already but that’s not the end.
They started calling him in the morning but he didnt want to say where he was but eventually he came to the venue before the show started.Money had been collected at the entrance and everyone was waiting for their payment.The bodyguards at the gate,the Djs,the artists and even the venue management.
GodyTenor already knew the deal was dirty so he grabbed the car keys from him.They had an argument and he ordered the bouncers to throw Gody out of the venue.Gody and his hommies were thrown outside for two min and then they were allowed back in.
Lil Carlos got the chance to run away with the cash during that tiny distraction and he hasn’t been seen upto now.He took all the money with him meaning no one was paid at all.
He has been posting on social media that Gody had been misbehaving and that’s why the deal didnt work.We have been trying to get his photos but all we have left of that disgusting creature is his logo.
He is colder than satan cus who plays with someone else’s career like that???
We want all artistes to watch out cus this has become a bad habit among event organizers.Kushman Pedi wa Magenge decided to bow out of the event cus he felt like there was something that was not right from the beginning .Another sign that shows that artists should stay woke .
This ain’t how we all want this industry to go forward.
